City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 13, 2018 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br /> <br />representing the St. Anthony Fire Department Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. 1 <br />This is a two-year contract with the St. Anthony Fire Department’s employees. There will be a 2 <br />3.25% increase for both 2019 and 2020. Health insurance premium increases will be split equally 3 <br />between City and employees. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution 6 <br />18-075; a Resolution Ratifying the 2019 – 2020 Agreement Between the International 7 <br />Association of Fire Fighters, Local 3486 Representing the St. Anthony Fire Department 8 <br />Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 11 <br /> 12 <br />D. Resolution 18-076; a Resolution Approving Ratifying the 2019 – 2020 Agreement 13 <br />between the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 AFL-CIO 14 <br />Representing the St. Anthony Public Works Department Employees and the City of St. 15 <br />Anthony Village. 16 <br /> 17 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed before the Council is a request to approve a resolution ratifying 18 <br />the contract agreement with the public works union. This is a two-year contract with the St. 19 <br />Anthony Public Works Department employees. There will be a 3.25% increase for both 2019 and 20 <br />2020. Health insurance premium increases will be split equally between City and employees. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Councilmember Stille thanked Mr. Casey for his negotiation of these three contracts. Mr. Casey 23 <br />stated the City has outstanding staff and they feel well supported by the Council and the 24 <br />community. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Councilmember Gray stated this is the highest increase for all three contracts compared to the 27 <br />past few years. The unemployment rate is very low. There is a lot of competition in finding and 28 <br />retaining good employees. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution 31 <br />18-076; a Resolution Ratifying the 2019 – 2020 Agreement Between the International Union of 32 <br />Operating Engineers Local No. 49 AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works 33 <br />Department Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Mayor Faust thanked the employees that serve the City every day. Liquor Operations Update. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson presented an Operations Update on St. Anthony 43 <br />Village Liquor Operations.
