City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 27, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Vice Chair, Parks Commission Erin Jordahl Redlin stated this is the second year for the Water 1 <br />Conservation Poster Contest. She reviewed the contest criteria. The winners for this year were 2 <br />introduced: 3 <br /> 4 <br />Aryan Saha – Honorable Mention 5 <br />Ellie McCormick – 4th Place 6 <br />Ella Borchiller – 3rd Place 7 <br />Josie Thomas – 2nd Place 8 <br />Juno Freitag – 1st Place 9 <br /> 10 <br />C. Students in Government Participants. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mr. James Wald noted his favorite part of the day was the Mock City Council Meeting. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mr. Stuart Scamehorn noted his favorite part of the day was to tour the Police Station and the 15 <br />Water Treatment Plant. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Ms. Gabby Herlofsky stated her favorite part was touring the Fire Department and Police 18 <br />Department. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Ms. Jacinta Wappes enjoyed learning more about the city government. 21 <br /> 22 <br />All thanked the Council and City for the opportunity. 23 <br /> 24 <br />City Manager thanked Bonnie Brever for organizing this event. He noted Councilmember Stille 25 <br />participated in the Mock City Council. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Councilmember Stille stated the Mock Council Meeting went very well and great questions were 28 <br />asked. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Faust stated this is a great program and will be continued. 31 <br /> 32 <br />III. CONSENT AGENDA. 33 <br /> 34 <br />A. Approval of November 13, 2018, City Council Meeting Minutes. 35 <br />B. Licenses and Permits. 36 <br />C. Claims. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the Consent 39 <br />Agenda items. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 42 <br /> 43 <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS – NONE. 44 <br /> 45 <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF – NONE. 46 <br />2
