City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 27, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />I Vice Chair, Parks Commission Erin Jordahl Redlin stated this is the second year for the Water <br />2 Conservation Poster Contest. She reviewed the contest criteria. The winners for this year were <br />3 introduced: <br />4 <br />5 Aryan Saba — Honorable Mention <br />6 Ellie McCormick — 4h Place <br />7 Ella Borchiller — 3`d Place <br />8 Josie Thomas — 2nd Place <br />9 Juno Freitag —1' Place <br />10 <br />I 1 C. Students in Government Participants. <br />12 <br />13 Mr. James Wald noted his favorite part of the day was the Mock City Council Meeting. <br />14 <br />15 Mr. Stuart Scamehom noted his favorite part of the day was to tour the Police Station and the <br />16 Water Treatment Plant. <br />17 <br />18 Ms. Gabby Herlofsky stated her favorite part was touring the Fire Department and Police <br />19 Department. <br />20 <br />21 Ms. Jacinta Wappes enjoyed learning more about the city government. <br />22 <br />23 All thanked the Council and City for the opportunity. <br />24 <br />25 City Manager thanked Bonnie Brever for organizing this event. He noted Councilmember Stille <br />26 participated in the Mock City Council. <br />27 <br />28 Councilmember Stille stated the Mock Council Meeting went very well and great questions were <br />29 asked. <br />30 <br />31 Mayor Faust stated this is a great program and will be continued. <br />32 <br />33 III. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />34 <br />35 A. Approval of November 13, 2018, City Council Meeting Minutes. <br />36 B. Licenses and Permits. <br />37 C. Claims. <br />38 <br />39 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the Consent <br />40 Agenda items. <br />41 <br />42 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />43 <br />44 IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS —NONE. <br />45 <br />46 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF — NONE. <br />
