Department Divisions <br />The Public Works Department is divided into six (6) divisions: Streets, Parks, Water/Sewer, <br />Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering and City Buildings <br />STREET DIVISION <br /> <br />The Street Division is responsible for the repair and <br />maintenance of the City’s street and sidewalk network. <br />They are responsible for snow and ice control in the <br />winter months, as well as road maintenance repairs <br />and street sweeping during the summer months. <br />The Public Works Department also completed an <br />annual Boulevard Tree Trimming and Removal & Planting Program. A total of fourteen (14) trees <br />were taken down and three (3) trees were planted on City property. The tree replacements for <br />the 2018 Street Reconstruction Project will take place in the spring of 2019. In 2018, the Street <br />Division conducted 14 street sweepings Citywide. <br />In the 2018-2019 winter season, there were 14 citywide plowing events.
