2018 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />In 2018, the Street Division used the following quantities <br />as part of street repair and maintenance: <br /> 8 cubic yards of concrete on sidewalk and splash <br />deck repairs <br /> 64 tons of asphalt on street patching repairs <br />PARKS DIVISION <br />The City Parks Division maintains a total of 5 primary <br />parks (Emerald, Central, Tower, Silver Point, and <br />Trillium). The Parks Division is also responsible for the <br />maintenance of the stormwater retention ponds, ditch lines and City owned properties. <br />Another aspect of the Parks Division is to maintain the City’s ice skating rinks. The ice skating <br />rinks were open for 64 days in the 2017-2018 skating season. The rinks and warming houses <br />opened on December 27th, 2017 and closed for the season on March 2 nd, 2018. A total of 2,376 <br />skaters utilized City rinks and warming houses. <br />The 2018-2019 skating season opened on December 22 nd, 2018 and closed for the season on March <br />9th, 2019.
