Jerry Faust, Mayor; Hal Gray, Councilmember; Randy Stille, Councilmember, Thomas Randle, <br />Councilmember and Jan Jenson, Councilmember. <br />Absent: <br />None <br />Staff: <br />Mark Casey, City Manager <br />Planning Commission: <br />Dominic Papatola, Dan Bartel, Dr. Bibi Nomo Neumann, Meridith Socha, and Brian Rude <br />Student Liaison: <br />Nimo Hashi <br />Consultants: <br />Steve Grittman, City Planner (NAC) and Stacie Kvilvang, Financial Advisor (Ehlers) <br />Guest: <br />Ron Mehl, Dominium <br />Call to Order: <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm <br />Dominium Proposal: <br />Grittman reviewed the proposal and process. <br />Dr. Neumann – Has there been a shadow study? Concern for residents at the cottages to the north. <br />Mehl - Dominium would have community meetings to help address concerns. <br />Papatola – Would like more information on specifics of the numbers before considering whether the density <br />should be above 40 per acre. <br />Mehl - There may need to be a trade-off with density in order to accommodate affordable. <br />Hashi – Any plan for managing traffic with one garage entrance? <br />Mehl - No traffic study yet. <br />Hashi- How many entrances? <br />Mehl - One main entrance, and two elevators. <br />Papatola - What is the planned parking ratio? <br />Mehl - Somewhere between 1.5 -1.7 spaces per unit. Size limits how many spaces can be underground. <br />
