Mr. Koechlien confirmed that it was done per the print and that it is no longer
2 Veit's or their issue. Mr. Urdahl reviewed the locations and process with the Commission noting that he
3 is not sure if it is a true 90-degree angle. He stated that moving the sod would not be as difficult as
4 moving the irrigation heads.
5
6 Mr. Koechlien reviewed the issues stating that it was completed, at scale, based on the print. He
7 restated that Veit no longer considers it their issue or concern. He stated that he would like to see Mr.
8 Urdahl coordinate this issue to resolution.
9
10 Chair Jindra asked Mr. Koechlien and Mr. Urdahl to determine who would be responsible and update
11 the Commission as to when it would be completed.
12
13 Mr. Zurbey asked if they would lose any portion of the warranty for the irrigation heads if they move the
14 baselines. Mr. Koechlien assured the Commission that it would not affect any part of the warranty.
15
16 Chair Jindra clarified the issues noting the Mr. Urdahl would coordinate the move of the heads and that
17 this would not affect the warranty. She asked Mr. Koechlien to determine the costs to do this work and
18 identify who would be responsible for the funds. Rick Dunn, School Board, clarified that this Mr.
19 Urdahl is the point person on this issue not the individual who would actually do the work.
20
Chair Jindra noted that the dugouts would be installed this month. She asked Mr. Koechlien to work
2z, with Mr. Urdahl on the electrical locations and wiring. She asked Mr. Urdahl for an update on the
23 materials they are using for the shelter.
24
25 Mr. Urdahl stated that the shelter would be a rock -face block and the roof would be the same color as
26 the pavilion. He stated that the siding would be a rough -edged cedar, similar to the pavilion.
27
28 Chair Jindra reviewed the trails noting that some areas of grass appeared to be a bit sparse. She
29 acknowledged that the soil in some areas is not the best and asked if these areas would eventually fill
30 out. Mr. Koechlien acknowledged the areas and assured the Commission that the grass would fill in
31 over time.
32
33 Mr. Zurbey asked referenced the two west fields stating that it was his understanding that they could
34 accommodate 75 foot bases noting that this was done for 1st and 3rd. He expressed concerns stating that
35 the infield cut is too sharp of a curve and that it takes too much of the grass. He explained that it was his
36 understanding that there should be four to five feet of dirt behind the base. He further explained that this
37 is a very important issue noting that there are four other groups besides the soccer team using these
38 fields. He stated that they must have a remedy to address this issue.
39
40 Commissioner Jensen expressed his agreement and asked how all of the items noted would be
41 prioritized. He expressed concerns stating that if they wait until their next Commission meeting to
42 determine the timeframe it could be too late to do anything because of the weather. He stated that there
are three issues to address, the 75-foot baselines, the soccer field grade and the boards at the hockey
44"11 rink. He asked Mr. Koechlien for suggestions.
45
