DISCUSS CENTRAL PARK CONCESSION STAND AND PAVILION DESIGN.
19 Jindra reported that BRW would not be used to design the park concessions or pavilion. She
20 asked for comments from the Commissioners based upon the neighborhood comments.
21 Ganley noted he would be interested in placing vines along the football field to soften the look of
22 the fences for the adjacent neighborhood.
23 Zurbey indicated he felt the trees planted along the park limits would address this issue and that
24 additional vines were not budgeted at this time.
25 Zurbey asked if the aglime was going to continue to wash away from the ball fields after grading
26 was completed. Mr. Hubmer noted this is always a concern with heavy storms because the land
27 does have a slight change in grade. He stated most storms will not affect the fields, but that the
28 larger storms could create a wash away of the aglime because of the large amounts of water run
29 off.
30 Mr. Hartman indicated BRW presented a less than acceptable park shelter to the City at the last
1 meeting. He explained John Druger and Glen Sadness, from Sadness Construction were before
32 the Commission to gain information on sketches for a revised and improved pavilion. Mr.
