1 <br />Ci ty Manager Casey reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated the City is being 2 <br />asked to agree to this Amendment. This Amendment reflects that the retail properties (and not 3 <br />residential) in Silver Lake Village should continue to have the obligation to maintain portions of 4 <br />39th Avenue adjacent to the retail areas. By executing the Amendment, the City continues to 5 <br />have the right to assess the remaining retail properties if the need ever arises. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Councilmember Jenson asked if this is referring to all of the areas that run parallel to the retail 8 <br />buildings that run adjacent to the sidewalk areas and the parking stalls but not the street itself. 9 <br />City Manager Casey indicated that was correct. This is only regarding the retail locations. He 10 <br />noted the City is not waiving any additional risk or liability with this and the City still has the 11 <br />ability to assess. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Stille asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak on this item. No one responded. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Walker, to approve Resolution 16 <br />20-0012; a Resolution Amending the City of St. Anthony’s Street Maintenance Agreement. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 19 <br /> 20 <br />B. 2020 Planning Commission Work Plan 21 <br /> 22 <br />City Planner Stephen Grittman reviewed the 2020 Planning Commission Work Plan with the 23 <br />Council. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Councilmember Jenson thought there were many different topics built into the workplan and is 26 <br />very extensive, much more extensive then previous years and he wanted to compliment City 27 <br />Planner Stephen Grittman team on compiling the list of activities. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Mayor Stille indicated many of these items are forward looking and things change constantly in 30 <br />this world. He noted this workplan will be posted for the residents to look at. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Motion by Councilmember Webster, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to accept the Planning 33 <br />Commission’s 2020 Work Plan. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 36 <br /> 37 <br />C. Resolution 20-013; a Resolution Approving a Wine/Strong Beer License for Carbone’s 38 <br />Pizzeria located at 2700 39th Avenue NE. 39 <br /> 40 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that staff has 41 <br />completed background checks and is recommending approving the Wine/Strong Beer License. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Councilmember Jenson thought this request was quite similar to other restaurants in the area that 44 <br />have beer and wine sales.
