2019 Annual Report • Police Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

33 | Page

June: While on patrol on the last day of school, Officer Mosby stopped at a bus stop and met
with parents gathered there who were grilling and waiting for their students to arrive. Officer
Mosby posed for photos with a few adults wearing
inflatable animal costumes.

Sgt. Sroga, Officer South and Officer Studer
recovered a resident’s stolen bike, and upon
learning that his bike lock was also stolen, they
purchased a new one for him to replace it. Well
done.
July: Officer Schlingman and Officer Milbrandt were special guests at Wilshire Elementary for
"Hero Week". They spoke to around 70 children about our jobs and answered the many
questions they had about safety and the police. They also handed out stickers and gave squad
car tours.
Officer Brandon Hess and Officer Trent Studer attended Elmwood Church's "Beat the heat ice
cream party". Squad tours provided to all.
August: SAPD supported VillageFest activities,
including staffing a St. Anthony PD booth on
Saturday where Sgt. Sroga met with VillageFest
attendees and gave away free SAPD goodies.
The entire Police Department joined the rest of the St.
Anthony Village staff, Mayor and City Council to
attend neighborhood block parties all over the City.
A tradition we look forward to every year.
