It defines climate goals based
on local prioriƟes and develops a roadmap of tacƟcal strategies to achieve those goals.
The Parks & Environmental Commission will partner with the City Council, City staff and WSB to
recommend mid and long‐term climate acƟon goals and a roadmap of acƟons to improve climate
resilience and deliver on the sustainability goals established in the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. A first
draŌ for review by City Council is planned for September 2023 with the goal of final plan adopƟon in
December 2023.
