March 24, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Nativity will be a Social <br />3 Hour. <br />4 <br />5 Commissioner Holliday asked Mr. Lundberg if the City maintains the gardens and Mr. <br />6 Lundberg stated as staff has time trimming and watering is done. <br />7 <br />8 VI.COMMISSION REPORTS. <br />9 <br />10 Commissioner Cody Holliday introduced himself. He is a new member of the Commission. <br />11 He and his family moved to St. Anthony in 2020. <br />12 <br />13 Commissioner Lily Fee has lived in St. Anthony for 10 years. She is also new on the <br />14 Commission. <br />15 <br />16 Commissioner Doolan stated January 10-12, 2023 she went into the 4th grade classrooms at <br />17 Wilshire and 3rd grade at St. Charles for the Water Conservation Poster Contest. She <br />18 announced the winners who were at the St. Anthony City Council Meeting. On January 24, <br />19 she attended the MPCA EV-Charging Grant overview and she shared the information with <br />20 Justin. On January 30, she went to the book review. The ecology club did the plastic waste <br />21 challenge. She is currently reviewing the Hennepin County Zero Waste Plan. Tomorrow she <br />22 is starting the pollinator summit. <br />23 <br />24 Chair Bordeau attended the 2023 Goal Setting Workshop for the first day. She thanked Katie <br />25 Godmare for being on the Commission in 2022. <br />26 <br />27 VII.STAFF REPORTS – NONE. <br />28 <br />29 VIII.OTHER BUSINESS. <br />30 <br />A.31 2023 Work Plan Schedule. <br />32 <br />33 City Manager Yunker reviewed at the Goal Setting Session; the City Council reviewed the <br />34 draft 2023 Work Plan submitted by the Parks & Environmental Commission. There were no <br />35 changes discussed at that session, and the City Council subsequently approved the work plan <br />36 formally at their February 14, 2023 regular meeting. When discussing the draft work plan, the <br />37 commission asked to schedule the activities included in the work plan over the upcoming <br />38 year. As a result, staff proposed the following schedule for the 2023 work plan items: <br />39 <br />40 March 6, 2023 – Consider endorsement of “No Mow May” Campaign and Prioritize results of <br />41 parks evaluation. <br />42 <br />43 June 5, 2023 – Review annual walk-through of all City parks and Pedestrian & bike friendly <br />44 routes for recreation and transportation. <br />45 <br />46 September 11, 2023 – CIP Review
