He reviewed the <br />8 mission of Three Rivers Park District. Gallery Exhibitions scheduled at Silverwood Park are: <br />9 At Least One Moon by Any Rice August 10 – September 30, 2023 <br />10 Corresponding Structures by Alonzo Pantoja September 7 – 30, 2023 <br />11 <br />12 A map showing the Sculpture and Poetry Tours was shown along with photographs of the six <br />13 speakers for the Audio Tour. Monthly Pop-up Nature Play Programs are held every 3rd Friday <br />14 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is a free/drop-in program. Photographs of some outdoor sculptures were <br />15 shown including the Oculus Arboretum by Trygve Nordberg and Every Little Soul Must <br />16 Shine by Wyatt Lasky. <br />17 <br />18 Free Family Fun Days are held every second Sunday of the month from 1-3 p.m. with a <br />19 Naturalist walk from 2-3 p.m. Mini Pumpkin Decorating Party will be held Wednesday, <br />20 October 18, 2023 6-8 p.m. Cost is $5 with materials and refreshments provided. This is open <br />21 to all ages. Plantsgiving Silverwood Plant Swap will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 5- <br />22 7 p.m. for ages 14+ and is a FREE event. <br />23 <br />24 The next Rental Open House will be held October 2, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. For up-to-date <br />25 calendars and rental information contact silverwoodevents@threeriversparks.com. <br />26 <br />27 Silverwood offers self-serve paddleshare boats for rent through Labor Day. <br />28 <br />C.29 Citizens for Sustainability Updates. <br />30 <br />31 Mr. Dan Kunitz reviewed a PowerPoint presentation including Climate Plan Outreach, <br />32 VillageFest and Climate Plan Expo. Outreach for the Climate Plan Survey included email <br />33 blasts, facebook posts, VillageFest parade handouts and VillageFest vendor booth. The <br />34 Climate Plan Expo will be held October 7 from 10 a.m. – Noon at City Hall. The opportunity <br />35 will include talking to local experts to create a resilient community. Mr. Kunitz asked if WSB <br />36 had completed the plan they were working on and Mr. Yunker stated WSB will be presenting <br />37 to the City Council/Commission on October 16, 2023 to review the draft. Mr. Kunitz asked <br />38 for comments on how to proceed with the event. <br />39 <br />40 Commissioner Fee stated the main concern is that the WSB draft will not be ready. Mr. <br />41 Kunitz stated he would have liked to have the City Council and Commission to be able to <br />42 review it prior to the Expo. Mr. Kunitz will reach out to the Commission.
