LA135-3-962147.v1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR POLICE SERVICES This First Amendment to Contract Agreement for Police Services (the “First Amendment”) is made and entered into as of August ____, 2024 by and between the city of St. Anthony, a municipal corporation under the laws of Minnesota (“St. Anthony”) and the city of Lauderdale, a municipal corporation under the laws of Minnesota (“Lauderdale”), each a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”. WHEREAS, St. Anthony and Lauderdale entered into that certain Contract Agreement for Police Services dated July 23, 2019 (the “2019 Agreement”) whereby St. Anthony agreed to provide police services within Lauderdale; and WHEREAS, the 2019 Agreement expires on December 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, the Parties wish to extend the 2019 Agreement for one year under the same terms and conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and the mutual obligations set forth in this First Amendment, the Parties agree as follows: 1.The first sentence of Paragraph XX, entitled Continuation of Agreement, is deleted and replaced with the following sentence: This Agreement will be effective January 1, 2025 and will continue until December 31, 2025 or until terminated as described in Paragraph XXI below. 2.Except as specifically provided above, all provisions, covenants, terms and conditions of the 2019 Agreement shall remain unaltered and in full force and effect. This First Amendment is effective as of the date it is signed by the second Party. CITY OF ST.
