City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 2025 <br />Page 10 <br />1 <br />2 Mr. Sonterre noted this property was in violation previously, and on the 29th day of the notice, <br />3 the violations were resolved. Now the violations are present. Mr. Sonterre stated he did speak to <br />4 the resident one time, who said he was going to have a large sale to get rid of the items. That sale <br />5 did not occur. <br />6 <br />7 Councilmember Jenson stated he drove past the property today and he feels sorry for the <br />8 neighbors. Going forward, there needs to be a plan to jump on this much faster to resolve. Mr. <br />9 Sonterre stated the new tool should compel a resident to resolve the violations. There were 83 <br />10 attempts to contact for this case. <br />11 <br />12 Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the <br />13 abatement of violations process on the property located at 3208 Skycroft Drive as listed. <br />14 <br />15 Motion carried 5-0. <br />16 <br />17 X.REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />18 <br />19 City Manager Yunker noted Clean-Up Day is May 3 at Public Works. Branch Chipping starts the <br />20 week of May 12, and residents can sign up on the City website. <br />21 <br />22 Councilmember Randle had no report. <br />23 <br />24 Councilmember Doolan reported that on April 9, she attended a webinar put on by the Rice <br />25 Creek Watershed District on Native Plants. On April 14, she attended the Chamber of Commerce <br />26 Board Meeting. On April 16, she met with MaryJo McGuire, Ramsey County Commissioner. <br />27 She listened to the Planning Commission Meeting on rentals within the City. On April 18, she <br />28 attended the orientation for the Met Council Land Use Advisory Committee. She is signed up for <br />29 the 5-day League of Minnesota Cities Learning Challenge. Today, she participated with a Girl <br />30 Scout Troop at Wilshire Park on Earth Day activities. <br />31 <br />32 Councilmember Jenson reported that on April 10, he attended the Ramsey County Local League <br />33 of Government Subcommittee. On April 11, he attended the Ramsey County Local League of <br />34 Government Programming Meeting. On April 12, he attended the St. Anthony Village Town <br />35 Hall Meeting at the High School. On April 19, he attended the St. Anthony History Committee <br />36 Meeting. <br />37 <br />38 Councilmember Elnagdy had no report. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Webster noted on April 10, she met with Mary McGuire, Ramsey County Commissioner. <br />41 On April 12, she attended the Town Hall Event. On April 14, she participated in a panel <br />42 regarding the book “The Anxious Generation”. On April 16, she heard feedback from the <br />43 Mayor’s Youth Council. On April 19, she attended the St. Anthony Historical Society’s Annual <br />44 Meeting. On April 20, she listened to the Planning Commission Meeting regarding rentals. On <br />45 April 22, she attended a meeting at the Legends with Congresswoman Omar. <br />46 <br />12
