City Council Regular Meeting Minutes April 22, 2025 Page 10 1 2 Mr. Sonterre noted this property was in violation previously, and on the 29th day of the notice, 3 the violations were resolved. Now the violations are present. Mr. Sonterre stated he did speak to 4 the resident one time, who said he was going to have a large sale to get rid of the items. That sale 5 did not occur. 6 7 Councilmember Jenson stated he drove past the property today and he feels sorry for the 8 neighbors. Going forward, there needs to be a plan to jump on this much faster to resolve. Mr. 9 Sonterre stated the new tool should compel a resident to resolve the violations. There were 83 10 attempts to contact for this case. 11 12 Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the 13 abatement of violations process on the property located at 3208 Skycroft Drive as listed. 14 15 Motion carried 5-0. 16 17 X.REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 18 19 City Manager Yunker noted Clean-Up Day is May 3 at Public Works. Branch Chipping starts the 20 week of May 12, and residents can sign up on the City website. 21 22 Councilmember Randle had no report. 23 24 Councilmember Doolan reported that on April 9, she attended a webinar put on by the Rice 25 Creek Watershed District on Native Plants. On April 14, she attended the Chamber of Commerce 26 Board Meeting. On April 16, she met with MaryJo McGuire, Ramsey County Commissioner. 27 She listened to the Planning Commission Meeting on rentals within the City. On April 18, she 28 attended the orientation for the Met Council Land Use Advisory Committee. She is signed up for 29 the 5-day League of Minnesota Cities Learning Challenge. Today, she participated with a Girl 30 Scout Troop at Wilshire Park on Earth Day activities. 31 32 Councilmember Jenson reported that on April 10, he attended the Ramsey County Local League 33 of Government Subcommittee. On April 11, he attended the Ramsey County Local League of 34 Government Programming Meeting. On April 12, he attended the St. Anthony Village Town 35 Hall Meeting at the High School. On April 19, he attended the St. Anthony History Committee 36 Meeting. 37 38 Councilmember Elnagdy had no report. 39 40 Mayor Webster noted on April 10, she met with Mary McGuire, Ramsey County Commissioner. 41 On April 12, she attended the Town Hall Event. On April 14, she participated in a panel 42 regarding the book “The Anxious Generation”. On April 16, she heard feedback from the 43 Mayor’s Youth Council. On April 19, she attended the St. Anthony Historical Society’s Annual 44 Meeting. On April 20, she listened to the Planning Commission Meeting regarding rentals.
