MPRB seeking grant funding for <br />portion east of Hwy 88. <br />ENGAGE BUSINESSES <br />Partner with Chamber of Commerce to <br />build relationships with businesses <br />Connect with the Council event held with the Chamber of <br />Commerce May 9th. <br />Staff met with Chamber representative on October 17th <br />as part of the Chamber Ambassador Program to share <br />updates and maintain lines of communication. <br />Energy Action plan includes engagement with businesses <br />throughout the City in coordination with the Chamber. <br />Informed & Engaged Community <br />CITY COUNCIL ENGAGEMENT <br />•Continue Connect with Your Council <br />efforts <br />•Continue participation with regional <br />partners <br />•Leverage Sister City to help advance city <br />goals <br />Connect with Your Council sessions hosted at Silver Lake <br />Village Condos on January 21st, in the Council Chambers <br />on January 25th and at Chandler Place on March 12th. <br />Council attended City Day on the Hill on March 6th and the <br />League of Minnesota Cities Conference June 25th-27th. <br />Salo, Finland visitors in Saint Anthony on July 25th – <br />August 3rd <br />PUBLIC SAFETY ENGAGEMENT <br />Continue priority of community relations <br />throughout the city <br />Police officers attended the career fair at St. Anthony <br />High School on February 24th. <br />Police officers logged 115 community engagements while <br />on patrol January through March, 193 while on patrol <br />from April through June, and 105 while on patrol July <br />through August. <br />Police And Fire Departments hosted safety camp over <br />two days in June for 62 kids. <br />Officers participated in various events including Cops vs. <br />Kids Basketball Challenge, Minnesota Night to Unite, <br />school sports, Coffee with a Cop, and lunch gatherings in <br />apartment communities. <br />WEBSITE REDESIGN & ADA UPGRADES <br />•Begin redesign project to be complete <br />by 2027 <br />Multiple design meetings have taken place with CivicPlus <br />and overall website cleanup and revisions are ongoing. <br />Redesigned homepage enhance newsflash and calendar <br />sections and embeds social media feed. <br />Reorganized navigation and all departments are <br />reviewing respective sections to update and focus <br />information on most important information. <br />For web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) <br />standards, work in continuing on converting PDF forms to <br />86
