Measures include <br />funding secured, partnerships strengthened, <br />staff capacity built, policies updated, and <br />stakeholder support. <br />These measures will help evaluate whether: <br />•Projects are being delivered <br />•The public feels safer <br />•Infrastructure is improving in safety and <br />quality <br />•Funding and partnerships are in place to <br />advance the work <br />•Long-term goals are being met <br />Measurement Frames <br />1.Infrastructure & Safety <br />Tracks physical improvements, safety outcomes, <br />and the quality of the walking and biking <br />environment. Measures include motorists’ <br />speeds, crash trends, crossing upgraded, <br />sidewalk gaps closed, and level-of-quality <br />assessments. <br />2.Community Experience & Use <br />Tracks how people feel, perceive, and use the <br />streets.Measures include community surveys, <br />comfort levels, parent perceptions of kids <br />walking/biking, and observed or counted <br />walking/biking activity.
