The full Public Works Annual Report can be found on the City's Website. <br />Councilmember Randle stated the Public Works Department does a great job. <br />Councilmember Doolan stated that street -sweeping is great, along with the snow plowing. She <br />asked about the ash tree remediation. Mr. Gumke stated they did a lot in the first year with the <br />grant funding. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated he likes the way the presentation shows who does what in the <br />department. <br />Councilmember Elnagdy stated she has not experienced potholes in the City in a long time. She <br />appreciates what the department does for the City. <br />Mayor Webster thanked Mr. Gumke for his leadership. <br />C. Engineering Annual Report. <br />City Engineer Justin Messner reviewed a PowerPoint presentation, including the WSB <br />Consulting City Engineer, 2025 Notable Accomplishments, Roadway Projects: Working with <br />our Partners, and Water Service Line Inventory Update. The full Annual Engineering Report can <br />be found on the City's Website. EIT — Assistant City Engineer Project Manager Katie Koscielak <br />was also present. Both Justin and Katie are WSB employees. <br />Ms. Koscielak reviewed the Pedestrian Safety Improvements, Central Park Improvements, Mill <br />and Overlay Improvements, and Street Reconstruction. <br />Councilmember Randle noted that for many years, he did not understand the road improvement <br />projects. It is a good policy for the City to continue to monitor the infrastructure and make <br />improvements when necessary. The age and risk of the infrastructure are prioritized. <br />Councilmember Doolan stated that the planning is excellent. <br />Councilmember Jenson asked about lead pipes and asked where the evaluation went. Mr. <br />Messner stated it is from the home to the street. They look at the public and private portions. <br />There is grant assistance for replacing those materials on the private side. <br />Councilmember Elnagdy asked about the 700+ homes that didn't answer the survey. Is there a <br />way to get more responses? Mr. Messner stated there will be another round of surveys once the <br />next round of grants is released. <br />Mayor Webster thanked Justin and Katie for their presentation and the relationship that has <br />developed with City Staff. <br />
