MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Stephen Grittman, City Planner <br />Date:May 26, 2026 <br />Request: Review of Draft Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance Materials <br />BACKGROUND <br />This memorandum forwards draft language for a proposed ordinance amendment incorporating an <br />allowance for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) on single family parcels. The material is presented in a <br />table format with ordinance text and accompanying staff comments or notes on each section. The draft <br />materials have been reviewed with Fire, Engineering, and Public Works staff for content and <br />completeness. <br />Council discussion is requested to develop a consensus on the various aspects of the proposed code. <br />Any additional direction would be appreciated as we prepare to bring this forward for public hearing <br />and formal consideration. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />No recommendations are made at this stage. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Draft Ordinance Language <br />10
