Duration. Termination. T City Man er ma rminate a probationary employee any time <br />during the probationary eriod if, in e City Ma . er's opinion, the working test indicates that <br />the employee is unab or unwilli to perform the ties of the position satisfactorily. The <br />employee so tenni ed will be otified in writing o d e reasons for the termination and will not <br />have the right to peal unles e or she is a veteran, in hick case the procedure prescribed in <br />Minn. Stat. § 1 .46 shall followed. <br />A full-time ployee rminated during the probationary peri from a position to which he or <br />she has b n promo d or transferred will be reinstated to a pose ' n in the class from which he <br />or she s prom ed or transferred when such position is availabl nless he or she is <br />disch ed fro the City service. <br />S .4. om letion. Immediately prior to the expiration of the probate ary period, the <br />part ent Head will notify the City Manager in writing whether or not t services of <br />the e ployee have been satisfactory and will make a recommendation as to ether or <br />not e employment should be continued. If employment is continued, the em yee will <br />be ome a full-time employee at the end of the probationary period. <br />Subd. 5. Leave Benefits,.
