Automated Meter Replacement Program Update. <br />Mr. Hubmer stated there had been a delay of about two and one half weeks in the delivery of <br />some of the transmitters and the receiver. He stated all the water meters and transmitters arrived <br />and the receiver should arrive and be up and working by the end of the week. He reported <br />installation began on the commercial properties of St. Anthony Village and notices to residences <br />went out this week. Mr. Hubmer indicated installation would start next week or the week after <br />beginning with Silver Lake Road, because of its topography, to find out where the best signal <br />readings are to locate the transmitters inside the homes. He explained portions of the City will <br />be completed at a time with notices sent out for scheduling appointments. He stated a schedule <br />will be mailed to residents and posted on the website. <br />Mayor Faust clarified that a post card would arrive in about two weeks explaining what is <br />happening. <br />Mr. Hubmer replied that was correct. He stated an inspection for sump pumps and foundation <br />drain inspection would be done at the same time. He explained that if a home is found to be out <br />of compliance the resident would have until June 1, 2007 to correct the problem. He stated after <br />June 1, 2007, the City would begin charging $100 per month until compliance is met. <br />Mayor Faust stated the City would work with the residents to ensure they are able to become <br />compliant in a reasonable amount of time. <br />Mr. Hubner replied they would work with residents as long as they are making a good faith <br />effort to comply. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CY>,Y MANAGER AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br />City Manager Morrison reported beginning February 6, 2007; the School Board will televise the <br />first regular monthly meeting from Council chambers. He indicated no summer dates have been <br />selected. They do meet Tuesday, November 6, 2007, which is the election night. Typically the <br />City Council has met that night to canvas the results. He asked Council to think about this as <br />they have seven days to canvas the results. He stated their live feed would be on Charnel 16, but <br />the replays would be on the school channel. <br />City Manager Morrison reported there would be no meeting with the School I3oard on January <br />30, 2007 at the request of the School Board as they are waiting for a report on various programs <br />for future school needs; this will not be available until mid February. He stated they have asked <br />to consider rescheduling the meeting for March 13, 2007 after the Council Meeting. <br />City Manager Morrison reported on the 2007 Council meeting schedule. FIe mentioned the <br />ordinance states when a holiday falls on a meeting date, which it does this year, that it must meet <br />the preceding Tuesday which would also be the Planning Commission meeting night. <br />0 <br />
