Silverwood Park is <br />included as a component of the Metropolitan Regional :Parks System serving <br />the -,seven county metropolitan area. <br />In addition to providing a regional need, Silverwood Park will. provide the City <br />St. Anthony with public open 'space and general 'park activities such as <br />picnicking, hiking, and lake access for small -carry -in watercraft. <br />The master, plan for the park was presented to the City of St. Anthony <br />Council on March ,28, 2006 and received approval from the City Council on <br />April 25, 2006. Three Rivers Park District staff also presented an update to <br />the City Council on October 24, 2006. <br />Parking Considerations: <br />Three Rivers Park District's has 'initiated the next phase of design <br />development and anticipatesmoving forward with construction 'document . <br />.preparation and construction in 2007.. - <br />As the design work- for both the site development and the buildings <br />continues, St. Anthony's city code was., reviewed to ensure that the proposed <br />work will be in compliance with local codes. The proposed development at <br />Promoting environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources -based park system <br />
