He asked if this <br />was the standard time. Mayor Faust commented that he assumed everyone would receive <br />notification and scheduled timeframe. <br />City Engineer Hubmer replied 20 minute is typical; however, there are situations where it is <br />difficult to access the meter. He stated some internal plumbing issues that have occurred where <br />the installer must come back after the issues are fixed by the homeowner. <br />Mayor Faust stated it is fair to say that if a resident can see the meter it should be painless. <br />City Engineer Hubmer reported next on the Silver Lake Road Reconstruction Project. He stated <br />two meetings were held on April 5, 2007 to discuss the logistics of relocating the gas main and <br />undergrounding the overhead utilities along the Silver Lake Road corridor. He stated the utility <br />work is scheduled for July or August and would take three to four months to complete. <br />City Engineer Hubmer reported the second meeting was a stakeholders meeting to discuss the <br />construction staging and construction related traffic issues during the construction of Silver Lake <br />Road. IIe stated he wanted to make sure everyone was educated as to when and how long Silver <br />Lake Road would be closed and alternate locations to City Hall, Fire Department, and Police <br />Department. <br />City Engineer Hubmer commented he is still working with Hennepin County on the funding <br />structure. <br />City Engineer Hubmer encouraged residents and stakeholders to call the contact number to <br />resolve issues before they become large issues. <br />City Engineer Hubmer stated that on April 26, 2007, 6:30 an open house is schedule for Silver <br />Lake Road. He invited everyone living along Silver Lake Road to attend to see the landscaping <br />and restoration plan. He commented he is always interested in the concerns and comments of the <br />residents. <br />0 <br />
