City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 14, 2010 <br />Page 5 <br />Anthony Public Works Department. <br />City Manager Mornson provided an overview of the proposed resolution ratifying the 2011 <br />agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of Operating Engineers, <br />Local 49, AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works Department. City Manager <br />Mornson outlined the terms of the one-year contract covering 2011. <br />10 Councilmember Roth verified with City Manager Mornson that the City has approximately 40 <br />11 union employees and 20 non-union employees. <br />12 <br />13 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve Resolution 10- <br />14 089; Ratifying the 2011 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of <br />15 Operating Engineers, Local 49, AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works <br />16 Department. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Faust stated his position on this contract is the same as stated on the previous contract. <br />19 <br />20 Motion carried 4-1. (Faust opposed), <br />21 <br />22 E, Motion to Cancel the December 28, 2010 City Council meeting. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Councilmember Roth, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to cancel the December 28, <br />25 2010 City Council meeting. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried unanimously. <br />28 <br />29 F. Resolution 10-090; Approving the State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement with the <br />30 City of St. Anthony Village on Behalf of its Police Department. <br />31 <br />32 Police Chief Ohl provided an overview of the proposed resolution to approve the State of <br />33 Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement with the City of St. Anthony Village on behalf of its Police <br />34 Department. <br />35 <br />36 Mayor Faust noted that this resolution is a housekeeping issue. <br />37 <br />38 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve Resolution 10- <br />39 090; Approving the State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement with the City of St. Anthony <br />40 Village on Behalf of its Police Department. <br />41 <br />42 Motion carried unanimously. <br />43 <br />44 VII.
