INTRODUCTION <br />2.1 Authorization <br />On December 21, 2015, the Hugo City Council authorized a feasibility report for the 147th Street <br />and Oneka Lake Boulevard Street Improvement Project. <br />2.2 Scope <br />This feasibility report includes street improvements, pedestrian improvements, and drainage <br />improvements along the following roadways: <br />147th Street North from Foxhill Avenue North to Geneva Avenue North <br />Oneka Lake Boulevard North from Geneva Avenue North to Goodview Avenue North <br />2.3 Data Available <br />Information and materials used in the preparation of this report include the following: <br />■ City of Hugo Capital Improvement Plan <br />■ City of Hugo Assessment Policy Manual <br />■ City of Hugo Property Index Records <br />■ City of Hugo Topography Maps <br />■ Field Observations of the Area and Field Topography Surveys <br />2.4 Project History <br />The 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard Street Improvement Project is identified in the <br />City's Capital Improvement Plan to address the poor condition of the roadway. <br />The City held a neighborhood meeting on December 14, 2015, to receive input on the project. <br />Many of the meeting attendees expressed support for the project, and expressed concerns <br />regarding traffic speeds on 147th Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard. <br />Feasibility Report <br />147'h Street and Oneka Lake Boulevard Street Improvement Project <br />City of Hugo, MN <br />WSB Project No. 1904-870 <br />Page 2 <br />
