Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for March 7,2016 <br /> Page 3 of 11 <br /> and mapping AEDs throughout the community. Goals for 2016 are to increase recruitment and <br /> retention and work on a five year equipment CIP. As part of the AED initiative, the department <br /> is also working on getting AEDs donated to the department for fire department personnel to <br /> have in their vehicles for emergencies. They will continue leadership development focusing on <br /> administrative skills. He asked if staff and Council were willing to work on an Emergency <br /> Operations Center (EOC) tabletop exercise, and the Council indicated they did. <br /> The Council agreed the ambulance transition was very successful. The Mayor thanked Colvard <br /> for his leadership. <br /> Introduction of New Washington County Deputy Lee Mars <br /> As of the beginning of 2016, three new deputies were assigned to patrol in Hugo. Sergeant <br /> Wayne Johnson introduced Deputy Lee Mars, who has been with the Washington County <br /> Sheriff's Department for 23 years in other departments. The Council welcomed her to Hugo. <br /> Approval of the Consent Agenda <br /> Weidt made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br /> 1. Approval of Claims <br /> 2. Approve Performance Review for Building Department Secretary Debi Close <br /> 3. Approve City Council Focus Goals and Ongoing Priorities for 2016 <br /> 4. Approve Appointment of Dave Strub as Vice Chair of the Parks Commission <br /> 5. Approve Revisions to the Hugo Fire Department EOP, SOG, and Personnel Policy <br /> 6. Approve Resolution Changing Polling Place for Ward 3- Precinct 3A <br /> 7. Approve Resolution Approving Site Plan for Growing Generations Day Care <br /> 8. Approve Resolution Approving Final Plat for Frenchman Place 3rd Addition <br /> 9. Approve Installation of Playground Equipment in Fable Hills <br /> 10. Approve Memorandum of Understanding with Fable Hills HOA for Equipment Donation <br /> 11. Approve Wetland Replacement Plan for Frenchman Place 3rd Addition <br /> 12. Approve sale of 2000 Chevy 2500 Fire Department Truck <br /> 13. Approve Sale of 2003 Chevy 1500 Engineering Truck <br /> 14. Approve Purchase of 2016 F150 Building Department Truck <br /> 15. Approve Hiring of Bryan Carlson as Part-time Video Technician <br /> 16. Approve Resignation of Kevin Kriegshauser as Training Lieutenant of the Fire Department <br /> All Ayes.
