Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Hiring of Six Public Works Seasonal Employees <br />Each year, the Public Works Department hires staff to fill five seasonal positions to perform grounds <br />maintenance duties at all City owned properties. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the hiring <br />Shannon Nelson, Summer Trebil-Unzen, Kyle Winberg, and Jason Kuennen as full-time seasonal <br />employees and Marc Smith and Tom Cardinal as part-time seasonal employees to fill a total of five <br />seasonal positions within the Public Works Department. <br />Approve Application for Water Surface Use Permit for Mike Ball on Round Lake <br />On behalf of residents living on Round Lake, resident Mike Ball has made application to the City of <br />Hugo for a water surface use permit to allow residents to water ski on the slalom course on the lake and <br />put a water ski jump on the lake. Washington County Sheriff's Department has provided the application <br />form that has been completed by Mike Ball. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the application <br />for a water surface use permit for a water skiing course on Round Lake. <br />Approve Application for Water Surface Use Permit for David Strub on Sunset Lake <br />On behalf of residents living on Sunset Lake, resident David Strub has made application to the <br />City of Hugo for a water surface use permit to allow residents to water ski on the slalom course <br />on the lake. Washington County Sheriff's Department has provided the application form that has <br />been completed by David Strub. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the application for a <br />water surface use permit for a water skiing course on Round Lake. <br />Approve MS 150 Bike Ride through Hugo on June 8, 2014 <br />The National MS Society holds a 150 -mile bike ride from Duluth to the Twin Cities each year in <br />June. The event is a fundraiser with proceeds going to finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. As <br />in past years, riders will be heading south through Hugo on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Event <br />organizers have been working with MnDot and have received a permit from Washington County <br />for the use of the Hardwood Creek Trail for this event. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the annual MS 150 Bike Ride through Hugo on June 8, 2014. <br />
