Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for January 7, 2013 Page 6 of 12 Approve Agreement for Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Inspection Services with Washington County The City of Hugo received notification the Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Inspection Services Agreement with Washington County expires on January 1, 2013. This agreement is a two-year contract with the City to provide inspection services for individual sewage treatment systems. Washington County Ordinance 179, Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems Regulations Ordinance (SSTSRO) and the agreement have been reviewed by City staff and found to be satisfactory. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the SSTSRO Agreement with Washington County to provide inspection services for individual septic systems in the rural area of Hugo. Approve Annual Spring City Wide Cleanup for April 20, 2013 Each spring, the City of Hugo and Washington County host an Annual Cleanup Day to allow Hugo residents the opportunity to dispose of their old household items as well as hazardous household products. Saturday, April 20, 2013 has been selected as the day on which to hold this event. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Annual Spring Citywide Cleanup for Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 8 am — noon at the Hugo Public Works Building. Approve appointment of Tom Weidt and Phil Klein as Council Representatives on the EDA Annually, Council appoints two representatives from the Hugo City Council to serve on the Economic Development Authority (EDA). In the past years, former Mayor Fran Miron and Council Member Phil Klein served on the EDA. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved appointment of Mayor Weidt and Council Member Klein to serve as the Council Representatives on the EDA for 2013. Schedule Public Hearing for Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) for March 4, 2013 As part of the requirements for the City's Municipal Storm Water Permit, the City is required to hold a public informational meeting to receive public comment on the City's SWPPP program. Public notice needs to be published in the official city newspaper 30 days prior to the meeting date. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the scheduling of the SWPPP public hearing for March 4, 2013. Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Humphreys Benefit on March 9, 2013 at the Hugo American Legion The Hugo American Legion Auxiliary has applied for a Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to hold a raffle for the Humphreys Benefit on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Hugo American Legion. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling Permit.
