Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the rescheduling of the Monday, January 20, 2014 Council meeting to Tuesday, January2l, 2014. Approve Resignation of Hugo Firefighter Zac Wellner Fire Chief Kevin Colvard has received a letter of resignation from Hugo Firefighter Zac Wellner. Zac is resigning from the Fire Department due to time commitments. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the letter of resignation from Zac Wellner. Approve Resignation of Community Development Intern Eric Maass and Authorize Advertisement for New Intern At its August 5, 2013 meeting, the Council approved the hiring of Eric Maass as the new Community Development Intern. Eric recently accepted a job with WSB Engineering. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the letter of resignation from Community Development Intern Eric Maass effective December 20, 2013, and approved the advertisement for a new intern. Approve Resolution Receiving Feasibilitv Report and Calling for the Public Hearing on the Street Reconstruction At its November 18, 2013 meeting, the City Engineer was directed to prepare a Feasibility Report related to the improvement of the 165th Street Reconstruction Project. This item was added to the Agenda by staff to approve this by resolution and schedule the public hearing. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION NO. 2013 — 41 RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED 165' STREET RECONSTRUCTION. Approve Rescheduling the January 6, 2014 Council Meeting to January 13, 2014 Staff has been informed there are scheduling conflicts for the first meeting in January, which may result in the lack of a quorum. Staff recommended Council reschedule the first meeting of January to Monday, January 13, 2014. Council Member Petryk removed this from the Consent Agenda because she had a conflict with January 13' date. Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule the first meeting in January to Tuesday, January 14, 2014. All Ayes. Motion carried. Update on Water Conservation Committee At its December 6, 2013 meeting, Community Development Intern and Water Resource Engineer Jay Kennedy discussed with Council the water conservation rebate program and water reuse projects.
