Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for November 19, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />Approve Annual Snowmobile Trail Application for the Hugo Snowmobile Club <br />Each year, the Hugo Snowmobile Club submits its trail application to the City for the purpose of <br />providing public recreational snowmobile trails during the winter. City staff reviewed the <br />application and found it to be satisfactorily complete along with a copy of the insurance. Club <br />President John Udstuen was at the meeting. Council thanked him for being proactive in <br />addressing the concerns of property owners. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />2012-2013 annual trail application from the Hugo Snowmobile Club. <br />Approve Annual Snowmobile Trail Application for the Rice Creek Trail Association <br />Each year, the Rice Creek Trail Snowmobile Club submits its trail application to the City for the <br />purpose of providing public recreational snowmobile trails during the winter. City staff <br />reviewed the application and found it to be satisfactorily complete along with a copy of the <br />insurance. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the 2012-2013 annual trail application <br />from the Rice Creek Trail Snowmobile Club. <br />Approve Hiring of Carrie Seiberlich as a Probationary Firefighter on the Hugo Fire <br />Department <br />Hugo Fire Chief Kevin Colvard requested approval of Carrie Seiberlich as a probationary <br />firefighter on the Hugo Fire Department. Carrie has met all the necessary requirements. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the hiring of Carrie Seiberlich as a probationary <br />firefighter on the Hugo Fire Department. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 1 to Hardrives, Inc. for Irish Avenue Improvements <br />Hardrives, Inc. submitted Pay Request No. 1 for the Irish Avenue Improvement Project. Staff <br />has reviewed the request and found it to be satisfactory for work performed. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 1 for Hardrives, Inc in the amount of $81,658.71 for <br />the Irish Avenue Improvement Paving Project. <br />Approve Site Plan for Xcel Energy Building Addition at 13620 Fenway Boulevard North <br />This year the City Council, with the Planning Commission's recommendation, approved a <br />20,900 square foot electric and gas training center and a 15,400 square foot training barn for the <br />property located at 13620 Fenway Boulevard North. The applicant requested site plan approval <br />for a 5,000 square foot building addition to the previously approved training barn. The addition <br />will be used for substation training. Staff recommended approval of the site plan for the building <br />addition to the Planning Commission on November 8, 2012. The Planning Commission <br />unanimously recommended approval of the site plan to the City Council. Lynn Patzner from <br />Xcel Energy Inc. was at the meeting and spoke briefly on the request. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2012-34 APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR XCEL <br />ENERGY, INC. FOR A BUILDING ADDITION ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 13620 <br />FENWAY BOULEVARD NORTH. <br />
