He explained the median ratio, coefficient of dispersion, and price related <br />differential show Hugo's property values are pretty accurate. The report also showed the <br />property values for 2011 were down 2 percent from 2010 with the average home valued at <br />$220,200 for the year 2011, down $76,400 from 2007. City Assessor Fran Langer reminded <br />Council and the public the Board of Appeals and Equalization will be meeting on Thursday, <br />April 21, 2011 at Hugo City Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m. <br />Award of Bid for 2011 Dust Coating Contract <br />At its February 22, 2011 meeting, the Hugo City Council authorized City staff to advertise for <br />bids for the 2011 dust control project. Bids were received and opened on Friday, April 8, 2011 <br />for this contract. Public Works Director Scott Anderson informed Council one bid was received <br />from Dustcoating, Inc. for magnesium chloride at $.68 per gallon. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to award the bid for the 2011 dust control project to <br />Dustcoating, Inc to apply magnesium chloride at $.68 per gallon for all 25 miles of gravel road. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Award of Bid for 2011 Graveling Contract <br />At its February 22, 2011 meeting, the Hugo City Council authorized City staff to advertise for <br />bids for the 2011 graveling project. Bids were received and opened on Friday, April 8, 2011 for <br />this contract. Public Works Director Scott Anderson informed Council there were two bids <br />received with the low bidder being M.J. Raleigh Trucking to supply Class 5 aggregate at <br />$7.70/ton. The total project cost is estimated to be $97,867.00 with a portion of it ($24,685.31) to <br />be paid by Lino Lakes. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the award of bid for the 2011 graveling project <br />to M.J. Raleigh Trucking at $7.70 per ton for 4.9 miles of gravel roads. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approve Health Up and GO Wellness Challenge Events for Summer 2011 <br />Parks Planner Shayla Syverson invited the Council and public to participate in the Health Up and <br />GO Wellness Challenge. This is a summer -long 148 day wellness challenge featuring a weekly <br />walking club as well as periodic speakers, exercise demonstrations, newsletters with fun wellness <br />option, and Hugo trail exploration incentives. A Wellness Challenge Kickoff is scheduled for <br />Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 9:00 am — noon at Hugo City Hall. The Kickoff event will <br />include free health screening, kids programs, and connections with local gyms and new fitness <br />options. <br />Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the Health Up and GO Wellness Challenge <br />events for summer, 2011 including the kickoff event scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2011 <br />from 9 a.m.-noon at Hugo City Hall. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
