Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes January 3, 2011 Page 6 of 9 Approve Ordinance Amending Terms for Historical Commissioners from Two Years to Three Years As Council is aware, the Historical Commissioners terms have been renewed for three years as stated in their Mission and Organization Policy. After researching this issue, the City Clerk discovered that according to a resolution adopted in 2002, terms are to be renewed for two years. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved ORDINANCE NO. 2011- 454 AMENDING ARTICLE V BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, SECTION 2-161 MEMBERSHIP, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO HISTORICAL COMMISSIONER TERMS. Approve Resolution Approving Ordinance No. 2010-451 to 2010-453 Relating to Revisions to Chapter 90 Zoning and Land Use. Staff provided a resolution for approval of ordinances that were adopted at the December 20, 2010, City Council meeting. The reason for the resolution is because the ordinances require a two thirds vote (4 of 5) and there were only three Council members at the meeting to vote for adoption. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2011-1 APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NUMBERS 2010-451, 2010-452, AND 2010-453 FOR DELETING, ADDING AND AMENDING AN ARTICLE AND SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 90, ZONING AND LAND USE AND ADOPTION THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE ENTIRE CITY. Approve Publication of Summary Ordinance for Amendments to the Future Urban Service District At its December 20, 2010 meeting, the Hugo City Council approved the revisions to the City's Future Urban Service District Ordinance. The now revised ordinance brings the City into conformance with the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. City staff, along with assistance from City Attorney Dave Snyder, has prepared an executive summary to allow for the publication as per City Code. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the publication of the summary ordinance for the Future Urban Service District. Approve Publication of Summary Ordinance Deleting, Adding, and Amending Zoning and Land Use At its December 20, 2010 meeting, the Hugo City Council approved revisions to City Code which deleted, added, and amended the Zoning and Land Use Ordinance.
