Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve RESOLUTION NO. 2010-32 DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE SOUTH EGG LAKE NEIGHBORHOOD STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS and RESOLUTION NO. 2010-33 CALLING FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE SOUTH EGG LAKE NEIGHBORHOOD STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS All Ayes. Motion carried. Approve Resolution and Assessment Agreement for End Zone Property Staff has been working with the owners of the former End Zone property located at 13891 Forest Boulevard for redevelopment opportunities. Owner Zina Minich has agreed to an assessment agreement to demolish the bar/restaurant building in the amount of $22,625.00 to be assessed to the property and paid back over ten years at 4.875% interest. Arnt Construction will be doing the demolition of the bar/restaurant building and will be starting next month. Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to open the Assessment Hearing. All Ayes. Motion carried. There was no one that spoke, and Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to close the Assessment Hearing. All Ayes. Motion carried. Haas made Motion, Weidt seconded, to approve RESOLUTION 2010-34 ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE END ZONE PROPERTY. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approve Date of August 24, 2010 for TH61/130th Street Ribbon Cutting Ceremony At its July 19, 2010 meeting, the Hugo City Council directed City staff to work with Wilson Tool Company officials to secure a date and time at which to hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the street intersection improvements made at TH61/130th Street. City staff contacted company official Duane Berg and he has agreed to schedule Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at which the City of Hugo and Wilson Tool Company officials will be in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve August 24, 2010 at 11:00 for the TH61 and 1301h Street Intersection ribbon cutting. All Ayes. Motion carried.
