Minutes for the Hugo City Council Meeting September 7, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />Approve the Hugo Fire Department Open House for Saturday, October 2, 2010 <br />Annually, the Hugo Fire Department holds an open house in October in order to allow residents <br />and their families an opportunity to tour the fire hall and inspect equipment and fire trucks. This <br />event is hosted by the Hugo Fire Department and Hugo Fireflies who will be conducting a bake <br />sale. The event is free and open to the general public with hot dogs and refreshments served. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the open house for Saturday, October 2, 2010 from <br />11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 7 to Arnt Construction for South Egg Lake Street Project <br />City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 7 from Arnt Construction for the South Egg Lake <br />Street Reconstruction Project. Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff has reviewed the pay <br />request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the project. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 7 from Arnt Construction for work completed to <br />date on the South Egg Lake Street Reconstruction Project in the amount of $57,921.61. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 5 to Rum River for TH61/130 Street Intersection Proiect <br />The City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 5 from Rum River Contracting for work on the <br />TH61/130th Street Intersection Improvement Project. Senior Engineering Steve Duff has <br />reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the <br />project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 5 to Rum River <br />Contracting in the amount of $ 121,795.12 for work completed to date on the TH61/130th Street <br />Intersection Improvement Project. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 6 to Arnt Construction for TH61/147th Street Intersection <br />Proiect <br />The City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 6 from Arnt Construction for work on the <br />TH61/147th Street Intersection Improvement Project. Senior Engineering Steve Duff has <br />reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the <br />project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 6 to Arnt Construction in <br />the amount of $235,452.84 for work completed to date on the TH61/147th Street Intersection <br />Improvement Project. <br />Approve Transition Plan for National Recycling, Inc. (NRI) <br />At its August 16, 2010 meeting, Council commented on a concept plan and transition plan for <br />National Recycling, detailing how the use will eventually come into compliance with all zoning <br />regulations. Rick Mark is preparing to submit a Conditional Use Permit application to the <br />Planning Commission and the transition plan has been modified following the Council's <br />discussion. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the transition plan as written. <br />Assessment Hearing for South Egg Lake Street Reconstruction Proiect <br />City staff was directed to schedule a public hearing in order to prepare an assessment roll for the <br />South Egg Lake Street Reconstruction Project. Finance Director Ron Otkin prepared the <br />assessment roll with the assistance of City Engineer Jay Kennedy and Senior Engineering <br />Technician Steve Duff.
