The Planning Commission tabled the item and advised staff to notice for a text <br />amendment to the garages section of the code as it is in direct relationship to accessory buildings. <br />After discussion, the Planning Commission agreed to amend the size requirements for accessory <br />buildings along with changes to the garages ordinance that would consider detached garages as <br />accessory buildings. This item was tabled by the Council at its June 1, 2009 meeting until this <br />meeting. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved ORDINANCE 2009-429 AMENDING CHAPTER <br />90, SECTION 90-204 ACCESSORY BUILDINGS and ORDINANCE 2009-430 AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 90, SECTION 90-230 GARAGES, PRIVATE. <br />Approve Lawful Gambling Permit for North Star Council BSA for Annual Pheasant Hunt <br />at Wild Wings on October 8, 2009 <br />Staff has received an application for a lawful gambling permit for the North Star Council Boy <br />Scouts of America (BSA) for its annual pheasant hunt at Wild Wings on October 8, 2009. City <br />staff has reviewed the application and found it to be satisfactorily complete. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the lawful gambling permit for the North Star Council BSA for its <br />annual pheasant hunt at Wild Wings on October 8, 2009. <br />Approve Use of Lions Park for Culpepper & Merriweather Circus on July 25, 2009 <br />The Hugo Lions contracts with the Culpepper & Merriweather Big -Top Circus at Lions Park <br />every 2-3 years to bring the Circus to Hugo. This family event is an opportunity for Hugo <br />residents and family members to attend a real circus under the big top. The Hugo Lions would <br />like to hold this event on Saturday, July 25, 2009 with performances at 2 and 4 o'clock. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the use of Lions Park for the Hugo Lions and <br />Culpepper & Merriweather Circus on Saturday, July 25, 2009. <br />Approve Resignation of Doug Galler from the Planning Commission and Authorize Staff to <br />Advertise for Vacancy <br />Doug Galler has submitted his letter of resignation to the City of Hugo for his position on the <br />Planning Commission. Doug has recently married and plans to move into a house outside the <br />City with his new wife. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the resignation of Doug <br />Galler from the Planning Commission and authorized staff to advertise for the vacancy on the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Utility Billing Clerk Jodie Guareschi <br />Jodie was hired by the City on June 17, 2002 as a front counter receptionist when the City moved <br />into the new City Hall. Over the past seven years, Jodie has worked as the City's Utility Billing <br />Clerk in the Finance Department managing more than 3,000 utility accounts in the City of Hugo. <br />Jodie also works as a member of the Hugo Fire Department as a firefighter/EMS responder and <br />administrative record keeper of BLS ambulance calls. Jodie is a loyal and committed member of <br />the City Hall team who has an attentive eye to detail with a good sense of humor. Jodie's <br />dedication to the Hugo Fire Department is well recognized as she is a respected and integral <br />
