Haas pointed out that decreased tax revenue by <br />leaving open space is offset by the increased value of nearby properties. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Publication of Summary Ordinance for the Floodplain Ordinance <br />At it's October 5, 2009 meeting, the Hugo City Council approved the revisions to the City's <br />Floodplain Ordinance. The now revised Floodplain Ordinance brings the City of Hugo into <br />conformance to FEMA standards regarding floodplain management. City staff, along with <br />assistance from City Attorney Dave Snyder, has prepared an executive summary to allow for the <br />publication as per City Code. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the publication of the <br />summary ordinance of the City's revised Floodplain Ordinance. <br />Approve Joint Powers Agreement Between the Cities of Hugo and Lino Lakes for the I- <br />35E/CSAH 14 Interchange Proiect <br />At its October 19, 2009 meeting, the Hugo City Council discussed the proposed construction of <br />the new interchange at I-35E/CSAH 14. Specifically, the City of Hugo has been informed by <br />Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes that a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) has been <br />
