City Council Meeting of June 2, 2008 <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br />Granger made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Renewal of Atkinson Mining Permit <br />Approve Sign Maintenance Agreement between Washington County and the City of Hugo <br />Approve TriFitness Run Event on June 14, 2008 along Elmcrest Avenue <br />Approve Application for Lawful Gambling for North Star Council Boy Scouts for October 9, 2008 at Wild <br />Wings of Oneka <br />Approve Resolution Approving Layout for TH 61 Corridor <br />Approve Permit for Temporary Patio at Carpenter's Steakhouse for Hugo Good Neighbor Days, June 5- <br />8,2008 <br />Approve Amendment to Development Agreement for Oneka Lake Townhomes <br />Approve Application from Carpenters Steakhouse for 2 a.m. Closing Time <br />Approve Pay Request No. 3 from Amt Construction for Work Completed to Date on the Rice Lake <br />Soccer Complex <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the claims roster for June 2, 2008 as presented. <br />Approve Renewal of Atkinson Mining Permit <br />Each year, the Atkinson's are required to renew the mining permit for the property located at the <br />southwest corner of 147th Street North, and Irish Avenue. There is minimal activity on the pit each year. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the mining permit for another year to expire on July 1, 2009. <br />Approve Sign Maintenance Agreement between Washington County and the City of Hugo <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree recommended approval of the sign maintenance agreement between <br />the City and Washington County, allowing the City to install and maintain signs within the County's <br />public rights of way. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the sign maintenance agreement <br />between Washington County and the City of Hugo. <br />Approve Tri -Fitness Run Event on June 14, 2008 along Elmcrest Avenue <br />White Bear Lake Tri -Fitness group has organize the "Grandpa Stay Home" '/z marathon, scheduled for <br />June 14, 2008. The proposed route for the run extends around the south end of Bald Eagle Lake, <br />entering the City of Hugo from Lino Lakes at 129th Street and Elmcrest. The route then continues north <br />along Elmcrest to 140th Street where it will exit the City of Hugo back in Lino Lakes. The Tri -Fitness <br />group is handling all arrangements and traffic control for the race. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the route as proposed. <br />
