City Council Meeting of June 2, 2008 <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />Approve Application for Lawful Gambling for North Star Council Boy Scouts for October 9, <br />2008 at Wild Wings of Oneka <br />The Northern Star Council Boy Scouts of America are proposing to conduct a raffle in conjunction with <br />their annual pheasant hunt. City staff has reviewed the Minnesota Lawful Gambling Permit and found it <br />to be satisfactory complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Application for Lawful <br />Gambling for North Star Council Boy Scouts for October 9, 2008 at Wild Wings of Oneka. <br />Approve Resolution Approving Layout for TH 61 Corridor <br />At its May 19, 2008 meeting, the City Council approved the proposed plan and Joint Powers Agreement <br />for the TH 61 corridor. The attached resolution formally approves the layout and agreement. Adoption <br />of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2008-29 A RESOLUTION FOR LAYOUT <br />APPROVAL FOR THE HIGHWAY 61 CORRIDOR PLAN. <br />Approve Permit for Temporary Patio at Carpenter's Steakhouse for Hugo Good Neighbor Days, <br />June 5-8, 2008 <br />Mike Anderson from Carpenters Restaurant is proposing to construct a temporary outdoor patio for use <br />during Hugo Good Neighbor Days. Alcohol and food will be served on the patio during the event from <br />June 5 through June 8. The request is similar to last year's request. City staff is unaware of significant <br />problems associated with the temporary patio this year. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />permit for a temporary patio at Carpenter's Steakhouse during the Hugo Good Neighbor Days event <br />June 5-8, 2008. <br />Approve Amendment to Development Agreement for Oneka Lake Townhomes <br />Michael Nightengale and Dean Gannon of XC Properties have requested approval of an amendment to <br />the development agreement for Oneka Lake Townhomes. The development agreement requires the <br />construction of all infrastructure and improvements to occur in one phase. The developers are <br />requesting to build two townhome buildings adjacent to 150th Street without constructing an extension to <br />Generation Avenue or any other public improvements or site improvements. The two townhome <br />buildings will have access from 150th Street and can be constructed separately from the remainder of the <br />development. Staff has discussed the changed with the developer. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the amendments to the development agreement. <br />Approve Application from Carpenters Steakhouse for 2 a.m. Closing Time <br />Catherine Anderson, owner of Carpenters Steakhouse, 14559 Forest Boulevard, has requested renewal <br />of their 2:00 a.m. closing time license. This license is renewed annually. City staff has reviewed this <br />application and found it to be satisfactorily complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />application from Carpenters Steakhouse for 2 a.m. closing time. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 3 from Arnt Construction for Work Completed to Date on the Rice <br />Lake Soccer Complex <br />The City has received Pay Request No. 3 from Arnt Construction Company, Inc., for work completed to <br />date for the Rice Lake Park Complex Construction and Appurtenant Work.
