Motion carried. <br />SCHEDULE NEXT I-35 W/E COALITION MEETING FOR FEBRUARY 21 OR 28 <br />On November 1, 2007, the City of Hugo hosted the regularly scheduled I-35 W/E Coalition <br />meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees agreed to review their calendars for <br />availability on either February 21 or February 28, 2008. <br />Puleo made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule the next I-35 W/E Coalition meeting for <br />Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Oneka Room at Hugo City Hall. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />DISCUSSION ON BOARD OF APPEALS AND EQUALIZATION MEETING <br />RESCHEDULED FOR APRIL 24,2008,5:30-7:00 P.M. <br />At its January 7, 2008 meeting, the City Council discussed the selection of the date and time <br />recommended by the Washington County Assessor for the City's annual Board of Appeals and <br />Equalization meeting. Council Member Chuck Haas inquired as to the availability of <br />Washington County staff for an evening meeting rather than in the morning in order to allow <br />residents an opportunity to attended and not have to take off work. Staff contacted the County <br />assessor to determine their availability for an evening meeting. County Assessor Bruce <br />Munneke recommended Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to reschedule the 2008 Board of Appeals and Equalization <br />meeting for Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />CITY OF HUGO LAWSUIT AGAINST CHARLES LOWELL AT 14069 FINALE AVE. N, <br />Assistant City Attorney Cameron Kelly reported to Council the settlement agreement reached <br />with the attorney representing Charles Lowell and the revocation of his Special Use Permit at <br />14069 Finale Avenue North. Stipulations of the agreement were the removal of all exterior and <br />interior storage on the property by April 1, 2008; removal of the building by May 15, 2008; and <br />if one or both of those conditions were not met, the City could carry out the stipulations of the <br />agreement at the owner's expense. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept the settlement agreement and direct staff to <br />schedule a meeting with the residents of that neighborhood. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />
