Council agreed to table this issue in
order to allow staff the opportunity to better clarify the specifications under which the
contractors had provided quotes on the job. Public Works Director Chris Petree worked with
Fire Chief Jim Compton to better clarify the specification for the project and determined that the
contract should be awarded to Hugo Painting and Drywall with a low quote of $3,200. As
Council is aware, Hugo Painting and Drywall is a licensed, bonded and insured painting
contractor located in the City of Hugo who have provided many years of painting services to
businesses and homeowners. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the award of the
contract for painting of the administrative areas at the Hugo Fire Hall to Hugo Painting and
Drywall at the low quote of $3,200.
APPROVE PAY REQUEST NO.4 FOR ENCOMM MIDWEST, INC. FOR WORK
COMPLETED ON WELL HOUSE NO. 5.
The City of Hugo has received pay request No. 4 from EnComm Midwest, Inc. for work
competed to date on construction of Well House No. 5. Public Works Director Chris Petree has
reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed on the project.
Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the pay request No. 4 in the amount of $26,148.75 for
work completed to date on Well House No. 5.
