The cost of the signs would be $289.98 each. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to update the two existing population signs and add a third sign <br />on CSAH 8 from the west. <br />All Aye. Motion carried <br />Discussion on Enforcement Action Against Todd Christensen at 6192 147th Street North <br />At it January 7, 2008 meeting the City Council denied variance applications for the width and setback of <br />Mr. Christensen's existing driveway. Staff provided Council with a copy of the resolution including the <br />findings of fact for denial that was adopted by the City Council and the minutes from the Board of <br />Zoning meeting. In addition, the City Council directed him to remove any nonconforming portions of <br />his driveway prior to June 1, 2008. The City Council also directed him to relocate his shed at the <br />northeast corner of the property to a location that complies with all zoning setbacks in that district. Staff <br />conducted a site inspection and observed that the driveway was still out of compliance with the <br />ordinance and that the shed has not been relocated. Assistant City Attorney Cameron Kelly explained to <br />the Council the issue could be brought to court for civil enforcement action. A court order would allow <br />the City to access the property to bring it into compliance and assess the property owner for the cost <br />incurred. <br />Puleo made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to begin civil enforcement proceedings against Todd <br />Christensen at 6192 147th Street North. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />Update on Goodview Avenue Joint Powers Agreement with City of Grant, Washington County <br />and White Bear Township <br />At its June 2, 2008 meeting, the Hugo City Council discussed the proposed Joint Powers Agreement for <br />the maintenance and upgrade of Goodview Avenue south into the City of Grant. Both Washington <br />County and White Bear Township had responded favorably to the agreement; however, the City of <br />Grant took no formal action after discussing the issue at their June 3, 2008 meeting. Council directed <br />City staff to send a letter to the Mayor of Grant requesting that the item be included on their July 1, 2008 <br />agenda for discussion, with both Mayor Fran Miron and Council Member Chuck Haas scheduled to <br />attend. City staff has been informed that this item was included on the City of Grant's Consent Agenda <br />with no discussion allowed, and the Grant City Council voted to not enter into the agreement. <br />Puleo made motion, Miron seconded, to direct the Public Works Department to forward complaints to <br />the City of Grant regarding the road, and inform White Bear Township, Ramsey County, and <br />Washington County that Grant had declined to enter into the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />Schedule Mid -Year Budget Review in Late July <br />Annual each year, the Hugo City Council schedules a midyear budget review in order to provide <br />Council with the fiscal financial information in regards to the current City budget as well as forecast for <br />
