City Council meeting of February 21, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, that ING representatives meet with Council members Haas and <br />Puleo to discuss the proposed employee deferred compensation program and report the meeting results <br />to Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE REVISED JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR RUSH LINE CORRIDOR TASK <br />FORCE <br />Washington County provided the City with a revised Joint Powers Agreement for the membership in the <br />Rush Line Corridor Task Force. The revised JPA was drafted to allow for changes in the Scope of <br />Services for work involved in development of the Rush Line Corridor. Council member Haas <br />questioned whether the agreement was consistent with the City's transportation plan for TH61. Council <br />member Granger stated that the JPA dealt with much larger issues than just TH61 and recommended its <br />approval. <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the revised JPA for the Rush Line Corridor Task <br />Force. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HUGO FIRE DEPARTMENT 2005 ANNUAL REPORT <br />Fire Chief Jim Compton and Assistant Chief Jadon 011ila provided a PowerPoint presentation outlining <br />the HFD 2005 annual report. Council discussed false alarms, CPR training classes, and incentives to <br />attract daytime firefighters. Council member Puleo expressed concern with the City's large population <br />growth and its ability to provide adequate daytime response. City Administrator Mike Ericson and Chief <br />Compton assured Council that they kept in communication to make sure that the City received <br />acceptable daytime response. . <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept the Hugo Fire Department 2005 Annual Report. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Puleo made motion, Haas seconded, to notice the HFD annual party on March 4, 2006, 5:30 pm, at <br />Kozlak's, to allow Council attendance. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SWPPP (STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PROGRAM) <br />The City scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Hugo City Hall, to present and <br />discuss the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP). PW Director Chris Petree presented <br />information and discussed the activities the City has been, and will be engaging in as a result of <br />implementing the SWPPP. Items that will be discussed include: the original SWPPP, status of <br />compliance regarding permit conditions, progress towards achieving the measurable goals and planned <br />
