This relationship has worked out very well for individuals seeking to sell their
property, which the City has intended for a new downtown. City staff received a recommendation from
the EDA to proceed with making inquiries for the remaining three buildings on the east side of TH61.
On Wednesday, April 5, 2006, City staff met Glyph Printing with owners Chuck and Mark Nosie to
discuss their interest in selling their building to the City. After discussion and a complete inspection of
the building, staff reached a successful purchase agreement for the building at 14667 Forest Boulevard.
City staff recommended Council approve the purchase agreement for the building located at 14667
Forest Boulevard from Chuck and Mark Nosie, at a purchase price of $195,000.
Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this matter to allow staff to continue negotiations with
the property owners.
All aye.
