Due to a unique set of circumstances in both houses, they are uninhabitable. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Resolution 2006-18 authorizing the demolition of the houses at 14625/14687 Forest Boulevard in order to comply with the TIF laws under Minnesota State Statute. APPROVE WATER SKI SLALOM COURSE ON SUNSET LAKE (DAVE STRUB) On behalf of the Sunset Lake Ski Club, Dave Strub has submitted an application for approval of the water ski slalom course. Staff reviewed the application and found it to be satisfactorily completed. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the water ski slalom course application for Sunset Lake. APPROVE WATER SKU SLALOM COURSE AND SKI JUMP ON ROUND LAKE (DAN DAVIS/MIKE BALL) On behalf of the Round Lake Ski Club, Dan Davis and Mike Ball have submitted applications for approval of a water ski slalom course and ski jump on Round Lake. Staff reviewed the applications and found them to be satisfactorily completed. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the water ski slalom course and ski jump applications for Round Lake. APPROVE APPLICATION FROM SAL'S ANGUS GRILL FOR RENEWAL OF 2:00 AM CLOSING City staff has received an application from Saint Angus Grill, Inc., d/b/a Sal's Angus Grill for an extension of the closing time to 2:00 am, which was approved by the 2003 Minnesota State Legislature. Consistent with State Statute, City staff has reviewed the application from Saint Angus Grill, Inc. and found it to be satisfactorily completed for a 2:00 am bar closing time. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the 2:00 am closing time for Saint Angus Grill, Inc. d/b/a/ Sal's Angus Grill. APPROVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR BUILDING AT 14667 FOREST BOULEVARD (CHUCK AND MARK NOSIE) Since 1999, the City has purchased houses on the east side of TH61 with willing seller's and willing buyer's agreements. This relationship has worked out very well for individuals seeking to sell their property, which the City has intended for a new downtown. City staff received a recommendation from the EDA to proceed with making inquiries for the remaining three buildings on the east side of TH61. On Wednesday, April 5, 2006, City staff met Glyph Printing with owners Chuck and Mark Nosie to discuss their interest in selling their building to the City. After discussion and a complete inspection of the building, staff reached a successful purchase agreement for the building at 14667 Forest Boulevard. City staff recommended Council approve the purchase agreement for the building located at 14667 Forest Boulevard from Chuck and Mark Nosie, at a purchase price of $195,000. Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this matter to allow staff to continue negotiations with the property owners. All aye. Motion Carried.
