Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the claims roster for April 18, 2005 as presented. <br />APPOINTMENT OF DAN GABRIELLI AND CHARLES KIRK AS NEW PARKS <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />On April 11, 2005, Council held interviews for the vacancies on the Parks Commission created by the <br />departure of Jim Keithan and Tom Weidt, who was appointed to the Planning Commission at the March <br />21, 2005 Council meeting. Council interviewed a total of eight applicants for the two vacancies and <br />was very pleased with the quality of citizens volunteering to serve on the Parks Commission. Upon <br />completion of the interviews, Council agreed to recommend at its April 18, 2005 regular meeting, the <br />appointment of Dan Gabrielli and Charles Kirk as the two new Parks Commissioners, with Dan <br />replacing Tom Weidt's vacancy, with a term to expire March 31, 2008, and Charles Kirk, completing <br />the term of Jim Keithan, with an expiration date of March 31, 2007. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the appointment of Dan Gabrielli and Charles Kirk as the two new Parks Commissioners. <br />
