City Council meeting of December 20, 2004 <br />Page 4 <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-91 APPROVING THE FINAL <br />PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 3RD ADDITION. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR WATER'S EDGE <br />NORTH 2 ADDITION <br />Waters Edge SF, LLC requested approval of Waters Edge North Second Addition. This is the second <br />phase of the Waters Edge North development and includes 64 single family homes. The northern <br />portion of Oneka Parkway will be completed as part of this phase. Staff found that the final plat is <br />consistent with the approved PUD general plan and preliminary plat. Mayor Miron requested Council <br />members Granger and Puleo be a part of the discussion of Waters Edge South, which will include <br />construction of Oneka Parkway. <br />Miron made motion, Puleo seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-92 APPROVING THE FINAL <br />PLAT AND AMENDED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />UPDATE ON RCWD MEETING OF DECEMBER 15, 2004 <br />At its December 6, 2004 meeting, Council directed staff to send a letter to the RCWD Board of <br />Managers requesting delay on final action for the approval of the Hardwood Creek/JD2 Rehabilitation <br />Project. Council specifically requested a delay to Friday, January 14, 2005, at 9:00 am, in order to give <br />Council the opportunity to meet in person with the Managers in order to discuss the rehabilitation project <br />and the proposed settlement for the JD2 culvert replacement project. Council members Granger and <br />Puled attended the RCWD meeting on December 15'', as well as staff and the City Attorney, and they <br />reported on the results of the meeting. <br />Puled made motion, Granger seconded, directing staff to schedule a joint Council, RCWD, and DNR <br />meeting to discuss: outline the City's role; continue minor maintenance; downstream water quality; <br />shortcomings of the findings of fact; DNR's commitment; and possible appeal. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CONSTRUCTION UPDATE ON NEW PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br />PW Direction Chris Petree provided Council with an update on the construction activities on the new <br />public works facility, in which the public works department is scheduled to move into by the end of the <br />year. Chris requested Council input for naming the community room, and at the suggestion of Deb <br />Barnes, directed staff to have a naming contest on the City's website. <br />
