Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL LANDSCAPING IRRIGATION <br />Landscape architect Laurie McRostie reviewed the bids received for the City Hall irrigation system. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, award the City Hall landscaping irrigation project to low bidder <br />Grassroots Sprinklers, Inc., in the amount of $13,650. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL BRIDGE <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to purchase a bridge for the City Hall landscaping project from <br />Bever & Sons, in the amount of $2,400. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />ABSTAINED: Chuck Haas <br />Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL EAST ROCK GARDEN <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, directing staff, under the guidance of Council member Frank Puleo, <br />complete the east rock garden landscaping project with master gardener volunteers. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />REVIEW REDISTRICTING (PLAN 1 AND PLAN 5) <br />At its April 8, 2002 workshop, the Council reviewed five different plans for the redistricting in the City, <br />in accordance with state statute and the 2000 census. The Community Development Department spent <br />several hours preparing a variety of City maps that would allow equal representation in the three wards. <br />Council directed staff to pi epare redistricting plans for Plan 1 and Plan 5, respectively. Council <br />discussed the pros and cons of both proposals and: <br />Puleo made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-16, RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />A REDISTRICTING PLAN REESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL WARD AND PRECINCT <br />BOUNDARIES (PLAN 1). <br />All aye.
