City Council meeting of May 6, 2002 <br />Page 4 <br />APPROVE FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR WOODS OF BALD EAGLE <br />Royal Oaks Development has made application to the City for acceptance of all the public improvementinr the <br />Woods of Bald Eagle residential subdivision. City Engineer Dave Mitchell has reviewed the request and <br />found the work to be consistent and satisfactory according to City code and accepted engineering <br />standards. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the final acceptance of all public improvements <br />for the Woods of Bald Eagle subdivision. <br />APPROVE ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND SALARY ADJUSTMENT (MICHELE <br />LINDA <br />The City hired Michele Lindau as its full-time deputy clerk on May 1, 1999. Michele has worked very <br />hard over the past several years and was recently promoted over the past year to Community <br />Development Assistant. She is an excellent employee and a vital member of the CD team. She is <br />dependable, reliable, and is able to contribute in a variety of ways that provide a tremendous benefit to <br />the CD department. She is the City's GIS officer, and is now able to print all City maps in house. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Michele's annual review and salary adjustment as prescribed <br />in the City's employee matrix. <br />APPROVE ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR CHRIS JOHNSON (CREEKVIEW <br />PRESERVE) <br />Chris Johnson requested approval of an encroachment agreement to construct a deck within a drainage <br />and utility easement and would encroach ten feet into the drainage and utility easement. Staff reviewed <br />the site and original grading plan and found that the deck would not obstruct drainage or impact the <br />adjacent wetland. The deck would be over 80 feet from the wetland. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the encroachment agreement and directed the City Attorney to prepare the agreement for the <br />Mayor's signature. <br />APPROVE CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE FOR THE HUGO FD RELIEF <br />ASSOCIATION AT GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS <br />The Hugo FD Relief Association made application to the City to conduct charitable gambling at the <br />Hugo Lions Club "Good Neighbor Days" to be held at the Hugo Lions Park on June 7-8-9, 2002. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the charitable gambling license for the Hugo FD Relief <br />Association and waiver of the 30 -day waiting period. <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY FOR CONTOUR MAPPING <br />In the fall of 2001, City Engineer Dave Mitchell presented to Council an opportunity to partner with <br />Washington County for the contour mapping of the City in the MUSA. Council agreed that it was <br />needed right at that time. With the expiration of the residential moratorium in February 2002, City staff <br />now believes that the mapping is necessary. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the agreement with Washington County for the <br />mapping of the City in the MUSA in the amount of $17,600. All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
