Motion Canned. <br />VICTOR GARDENS 2ND ADDITION (PRELIMINARY PLAT) <br />Pratt -Amt -Oakwood, LLC and contractor property developers made application to the City for approval <br />of the preliminary plat for Victor Gardens 2"d Addition. This 2"d Addition would consist of 70 <br />townhome units located south of CR 8 and east of the existing Elmcrest Avenue. At its October 24, <br />2001 meeting, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the proposed preliminary plat <br />and recommended approval by unanimous vote. The developer has selected Rottlund Homes as the <br />builder for the project. The development's architectural review board reviewed the building elevations <br />and plans and found them to be generally consistent with the architectural guidelines. Mayor Miron <br />stated he is impressed with the quality of the development. Developer Len Pratt introduced other <br />individuals who are involved in Victor Gardens 2"d Addition. <br />Miron made motion, Puleo seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-23 APPROVING PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT FOR VICTOR GARDENS 2ND ADDITION. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />120TH STREET/EVERTON AVENUE STREET SIGN <br />Council member Becky Petryk noted that a "sharp curve sign" was missing at he 12CO Street/Everton <br />Avenue intersection. The intersection is uncontrolled and the site of a number of accidents. <br />Miron made motion, Puleo seconded, directing staff to inspect the area and have the appropriate sign(s) <br />installed where needed. <br />All aye. Motion Canned. <br />TRANSFER OF DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS PROGRAM <br />City staff met recently with Council members Chuck Haas and Becky Petryk and Planning Commission <br />Chair Dave Schumann regarding the development of a transfer of development rights program in the <br />City. This informal group completed some preliminary research on the subject and forwarded the <br />information to the Planning Commission for consideration. Because of the late hour, and Council felt <br />the need to discuss this matter more extensively: <br />Puleo made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this matter until the Council meeting of June 3, 2002, and <br />authorize the guest speaker at the Planning Commission meeting of June 13, 2002. <br />All aye.
