City Council meeting of November 18, 2002 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVE FINAL PAY REQUEST FROM MARK HAUG CONSTRUCTION FOR WORK <br />COMPLETED ON CITY HALL <br />Mark Haug Construction made application for approval of its final pay request for work completed to <br />date on the new Hugo City Hall. City Administrator Mike Ericson reviewed the pay request with City <br />staff and found it to be consistent with work completed on the project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved payment to Mark Haug Construction in the amount of $4,000.60 for the final work completed <br />on the Hugo City Hall. <br />APPROVE SUPPLEMENTAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY <br />COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR BALD EAGLE LAKE <br />For the past several years, the City of Hugo has supported a Supplemental Law Enforcement Services <br />Agreement with the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department to provide police protection on Bald Eagle <br />Lake during the winter. White Bear Township drafted a Supplemental Law Enforcement Services <br />Agreement and presented it to the City of Hugo for approval. Ramsey County would be responsible for <br />50%, White Bear Township 25%, and the City of Hugo 25% of the costs. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved the Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Agreement in the amount of $1,286.25 <br />for the 2002/2003 -winter season. <br />ACCEPT ONEKA ROOM CHRISTMAS TREE DONATION FROM HUGO LIONS CLUB <br />The Hugo Lions Club graciously agreed to donate $200 to purchase a Christmas tree for the new City <br />Hall Oneka Room. The Lions would like to donate it to the City to be used during the Christmas holiday <br />season with storage by the City. Adoption of the Consent Agenda accepted the gracious Christmas tree <br />donation from the Hugo Lions Club and publicly thanked them for their generous contribution and <br />service to the City. <br />APPROVE GROUND LEASE AGREEMENT WITH LAMETTI TO RELOCATE WARNING <br />SIREN <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder prepared a Lease Agreement with Lametti & Sons to locate the City's new <br />tornado warning siren on their property. The lease would be for $1 and an indefinite period of time. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lease Agreement with Lametti & Sons for the warning <br />siren. <br />APPROVE AMENDMENTS TO JD2 COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder drafted amendments to the City's JD2 Cooperative Agreement with new <br />language consistent with the City of Forest Lake's desire to avoid making road authorities immediately <br />responsible for cleaning out culverts that are obstructed immediately after the culverts are replaced. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the amendments to the third revision of the Cooperative <br />Agreement. <br />
