Motion Carried. <br />GENERATOR FOR WELL AND LIFT STATION <br />At its May 7, 2001 meeting, the Council awarded the contract for constructi4 <br />well No. 3 to Municipal Builders, at a total cost of $376,800. The Council c <br />alternate No. 2 for the purchase of a generator that would power the well in 1 <br />outage. Staff was directed to publish a public notice and receive bids for a 1 <br />mounted on a trailer. The specifications for the generator were the same as 1 <br />Engineer and the one used in the pump house bid. Only two bids were recei <br />Central at a cost of $44,235 and Interstate Power Systems and a cost of $52,1 <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept staff recommendation and <br />purchase of a 150 -kilowatt generator and trailer to the low bidder Cummins t <br />$47,110.28, which includes the sales tax. <br />All aye.
